Every December 3, people with disabilities from all over the world come together in a common voice to defend their rights and request that legislated norms and supports be complied with so that their day to day lives become easier, more equal and less discriminatory.
More than seven billion people today populate the planet and an estimated one billion have some kind of disability, of them, 80% of them live in developing countries, according to information from the United Nations (UN).
ARC celebrates this day to eliminate mobility barriers in the driving and transportation of people in wheelchairs in order to create an inclusive society accessible to all.
